The Chai Notes is one of Cornell’s co-ed groups.
Founded in 1996, The Chai Notes is Cornell University's best and only Jewish-themed, co-ed a cappella group. We sing songs in both Hebrew and English, including current popular hits. A tight-knit bunch, we love spending time and singing with one another, and are recognized for our fun and dynamic performances. We have one concert every semester, "ChaiLights" in the fall and "Chai on Life" in the spring. We also regularly perform at gigs in the Ithaca area, and travel across the U.S. for regional tours and a cappella festivals. On top of live music, we have released four studio albums and are currently recording a fifth.
